A bit about me...
I've always loved makeup, but my passion working as a professional Makeup Artist began after training within the makeup and cosmetics industry.
It was here where I started to gain an insight into products, ingredients, pigments and the many differences of skin complexions, colour, tones and what actually works for individual likes, desires and needs. My passion grew along with my knowledge in all aspects of skin and makeup.
My career over the years has enabled me to adapt within the ever changing cosmetics world. To give honest, clear advise without the sales pitch in sight.
My Makeup bag makeovers and masterclasses are a huge success, for fun insightful advice and techniques to help you get to grips with makeup.
My Weddings and special occasion makeovers, allow me to create and achieving beautiful fresh and radiant long lasting makeup looks, ensuring you feel confident and ready for your special day or occasion.
My focus and passion is to help you feel happy and confident wearing makeup and tailoring it just for you.
Throughout my career as a professional Makeup Artist, I have gained experience with many cosmetic brands working in skincare and makeup. Training in products, ingredients and techniques to help adapt within the changing makeup world.
My career in makeup includes weddings; commercial photography, brand campaigns, corporate and special events, studio and location photoshoots, plus TV and film work. I enrolled on a makeup and special effects course after moving to London from Devon. I trained at Brushstrokes Makeup School and qualified in Makeup Artistry for TV, Film, Special Effects and Photography.
For several years, I worked in the mainstream of advertising, photography, filming and events. Here are a few examples of my work:
Cosmo Bride magazine "Confetti" Flagship store London. Brides magazine "Wrap It" Store London: Teaching Tutorials, demonstrating contemporary makeup for brides. Holding Masterclasses and Individual consultations. Umberto Giainnini Hair awards: Theme One Wild Night; Becca Cosmetics: Lipstick Launch - Danni Minogue; In Style magazine fashion shoots; Warner Bros, Harry Potter: The Goblet of fire- Ballroom scenes , Quidich Games; Red Letter Days: Pamper Event and advertisements.
I further developed my makeup passion and profession, with training other makeup artists in the retail cosmetics industries, in Londons top department stores and boutiques.
After relocating to Farnham in Surrey with my young family, I now work freelance which enables me to offer insightful tutorials, classes and make-overs. Providing you with the best results from makeup which ever service you choose.
